MILLS AND MILLS ON ITV

MARCH 16th is the date set for the much awaited series on ITV featuring staff from Mills and Mills. The title has still yet to be decided, the first idea was "Costa Del Dolls" which has now been dropped. As soon as I know for sure I will post it on the blog. The programme will feature our own Louise Truelove who has had a camera team following her around Marbella for some months now.

Louise is a senior Patient Coordinator in our Marbella hospital. She is engaged to Dan and collects lost dogs in her spare time!!!

The programme showcases the cosmetic surgery performed at Mills and Mills and some of Marbella's wonderful people.

New Liposuction Machine Under Trial

A new machine is now on the market promising even better results in fat removal. It is called LIPOMATIC and our Dr Mendoza is now conducting trials. We are monitoring the trial very carefully but early signs are very encouraging indeed. So far, we have seen great body contouring, far less bruising and swelling than would normally be expected... and most important of all... some very very happy patients.

Keep watching this space and I will update everyone on the progress. All being well, we will look to purchase a machine in the near future.

NEW YEAR AND OBESITY ENQUIRIES SOAR

The phones have not stopped ringing since the New Year with obesity enquiries. It looks like there have been plenty of New Year resolutions made as we start 2007.

Most people are simply fed up with diets (and every other way to lose weight, or so it seems). There is no doubt that obesity surgery is seen as a last chance saloon way of finally shedding the fat.

Both the gastric balloon and lap band continue to be very popular. We are carrying out a number of surgeries in January with the gastric balloon, proving most people's choice to kick start a healthier new life.

We have reduced the fee for gastric balloon even further and we now believe we are one of the most competitive companies in Europe for this procedure.

What's really important is to remember that you are going to need some support after this operation if this operation is high on your agenda. Dieticians, psychologists and fitness trainers should all be included in any worthwhile obesity programme... if not, think very carefully before going ahead... after all... the surgery is only half of the story.
